about us
Craft•Kits was conceived by Avis Schmul after a lifetime of studying, teaching, and enjoying experiences in China, the Middle East, and the United States. Avis' deep appreciation for the work of local artisans led her to develop a repertoire of multicultural crafts for children and their families.

What are Craft•Kits?
Each kit is an educational multicultural craft project for preschool and elementary-age children and their parents and grandparents. Each kit is designed and packaged by a culturally diverse team of dedicated mothers who love applying their various professional talents and parental insights to a product in which they wholeheartedly believe. Our products are enjoyed by kids of all ages, from 5 to 105!

What makes Craft•Kits products unique?
Each kit comes with step-by-step illustrated instructions, full-sized patterns, and well-researched background information about the culture or project featured. Each craft is carefully designed and "kid-tested" to be both a fun and a quality learning opportunity. Each kit is also a "pick up and do" classroom project for busy teachers.
