Maracas are rattles used as rhythm instuments. They were originally
made from oval-shaped gourds filled with dried seeds. Many other materials
have been used to make rattles, such as hollowed-out wood, clay, and even bones,
to name a few. Our version is made from paper maché, but works just as well.
Have fun making your maracas and enjoy creating your own musical rhythm!

(The sample shown above is made from materials included in the Craft Sampler Pack)
